Being fabulous and over forty is finally centre stage, and the restaurant industry backs this up: in 2024, nearly 65% of table reservations on leading Indian platforms are made by women. I am a strong believer of our cultual & religious practises as our ancient Indian culture has lot of rituals & practises which foster social connections, emotional support & sisterhood amongst women.
Festivals like Diwali, Navratri, Holi, Karva chauth, south indian festivals like attla thaddi, sravana masam encourage women gatherings & emotional support amongst women.
I feel awestruck that our ancient culture was so modernized and sadly the current generation embraces the same concept with western titles !
